LWS Solutions has recently supplied 2 Micro Drum Filter, type MDF-2006, for a waste water treatment plant in Portugal. These Micro Drum Filters will reduce the TSS in order to improve the performance of the Trojan UV-system.
Besides that, the Micro Drum Filter is also used as safety against TSS variations in the secondary treatment. The effluent quality will also be very close to the requirements for waterings purposes.
This combination of Micro Drum Filter and UV system is a proven solution in Portugal for:

The complete system is installed in order to achieve the limits due to the sensitive discharge area as it is located close to the beaches of Algarve.
